What is the End Time Beast ?

The end time Beast spoken of in Daniel and Revelations is a world controlling government.  And most of the false teachers, teach it’s a world controlling government. But where the false preacher makes a mistake is in the “character” of this world controlling government. What God hates, the natural man loves !  Because of that fact, the false preacher interprets the scriptures with their “natural” mind and understanding, and not by the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, they create a overwhelming amount of vane ideas on what the “character” of the “end time beast” government is like.  It is these vain imaginations of this governments “character” that ends up leading the world to look for some future world controlling government, while they worship and love the world controlling government that actual is the beast. This  government God hates and will destroy, will be a government the natural man will love and desire. It is extremely important for the christian living today to seek out the truth of the “end time” prophecies and what they reveal. The bible warns us of these false prophets who will deceive the world into worshiping this beast and Satan who gives it power. “and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” (Rev. 13:3-4) ….. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.(Rev,13:8)   These scriptures tell how important it is for us to recognize these false teachings, so we are not deceived and also worshiping the dragon and the beast.

The Beast of the end times is foretold in the book of Daniel and Revelations

Both books of Daniel and Revelations are showing the same “end time” events, with some different symbols to do so. We need to compare the scriptures to discover and understand what the bible shows to be the true meaning of these symbols that is representing these “last days”. Once a person has a correct understanding of these symbols, and how they are connected, then one can easily see and understand what this “beast” is, and the false prophet(s) that are deceiving the world into worshiping it.

The end time prophecies begin in the book of Daniel with king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a “great image”, and then in Daniel’s two dreams of the evening and morning. (Daniel chapters 2, 7, 8 )

In studying Daniel, we are shown the same events in time, but in two different symbolic forms. The first form is of a “great image”, that is made up of different types of metals and clay. The second form is of different types of “beasts”.

In the “great image”, there are five different types of symbolic materials that show us the future. Four of these symbols are metals of gold, silver, brass, and iron, and the fifth symbol is of “miry clay” that becomes mixed with the iron. The second symbolic form in Daniel is symbolized in beasts, most of which are representing the same point in time as the metals are in the great image. We will discover, both of theses symbolic prophecies are showing us the same future world controlling governments.

King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the great image. Daniel 2

God shows Nebuchadnezzar (and us) by way of a dream what the future governments would be after his kingdom (Daniel 2:29) …. “As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.”

The King’s dream of the great image, contains some “keys” that are important we notice and understand. These keys are needed to understand the last government of the prophecies. There are five symbols used to describe the great image in Daniel 2:32-33 “This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.”

      5. the feet and toes of iron and clay mixed

Daniel interprets to the King, the true meaning is representing his kingdom, and the future world controlling kingdoms that will follow his. He explains to us how the different metals, and “miry clay” that make up this image are symbols for different types of future world ruling kingdoms. (Daniel 2:38-42)

“And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.”

Daniel explains exactly what the meaning of these symbols are. The metals are future world controlling Kingdoms, or governments that God has predestined, starting at the golden head and passing in time to its iron and clay mixed toes. The image shows, different world controlling kingdoms (governments) come into power, and then are over thrown by the next kingdom (government) as the metals change one from another, as time moves from the head of the image to its toes. Hear, and take heed to this very important “key”, that God has showed Nebuchadnezzar and declared to us. Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom is declared by God to be the “superior kingdom” of all the future governments that will follow his, by being symbolized as a “head of gold.”  In this very important fact lies the key to understanding how the future kingdoms after Nebuchadnezzar’s will become “inferior” to his kingdom. Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar he is a “king of kings” which also is key, showing how the future governments will become inferior to his type of government. (The reader is encouraged to read the entire chapter of Daniel 2, and consider the great wisdom in how Nebuchadnezzar made absolutely sure he was given the correct interpretation, and that it could of only come from God.) 

The different “types” of metals seen in the image are symbolizing an inferiority that is growing worse between the world controlling governments as time passes. We can understand silver being inferior to gold, just as brass is inferior to silver, and iron being inferior to brass, till the inferiority grows so great that iron becomes mixed with “miry clay”, that is not a metal at all. It is very important also to note, Daniel tells us when interpreting the dream, God will be setting up a kingdom in the days of theses world controlling kingdoms (governments) that will last forevermore.

Daniel 2:44 … “in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which “shall never be destroyed:” and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

This kingdom God is setting up will be unseen, and not understood by the world, it will not be working or trying to control the world, nor over throw any of these other ruling governments while being “set up”, but at the end of time, will be the kingdom and government that will stand and rule forever more.

From Daniel’s God given interpretation of the great image, it is easy to understand the great image is symbolizing kingdoms, or governments, that will grow more and more inferior one to another, till God has finished his work setting up his kingdom that will destroy all kingdoms of the world and rule forevermore. Many years later in Daniels life, (chapters 7, 8 ) God shows Daniel exactly who the next two world controlling kingdoms are after the Babylonian kingdom, …..before they ever come into power.

Here is a summery of what Daniel chapter 2 has showed us in this first “form” of symbols.

1. 1. 1. God has predestined all of the world controlling governments that will come to pass.

      2. The “great image” and its different materials are a symbolic time line of world controlling governments that were to come.

      3. There is an inferiority growing in the future world controlling governments, that will grow more inferior one to the other that came before it.

The second form of symbols in Daniel

The second form of symbols showing this same “time line” of world controlling kingdoms as in the “great image”, is given to Daniel in two different dreams many years later that are seen as beasts.

Daniel’s first dream and vision

Approximately 40 years has now passed since Daniel had interpreted to Nebuchadnezzar his dream of “the great image”. Nebuchadnezzar’s son, Belshazzar is now reigning in his first year over Babylon when Daniel is given the first dream and vision.

Daniel 7:2-7 “Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.”

The 4 Symbols of Daniels first dream

1. 1. 1. A beast like a lion with “eagles” wings

      2. A beast like a bear, “raised up on one side” with 3 ribs in its mouth.

      3. A beast like a leopard with 4 heads and four wings of a “foul”

      4. A fourth, dreadful and terrible beast “diverse” from all beast before it.

The four “winds of heaven” that “strove” upon this “great sea”, are symbolizing the spirits of God, that have power to bring to pass through men, what God himself has ordained and predestined through time. “ …Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” (Rom. 13:1) The “great sea” is a symbol representing the people of the world throughout time.

We see time passing in the vision as these great beasts rise up out of this “great sea” of humanity one after another. These four great beasts are said to be “diverse” one from another, but the fourth, and last beast is said to be diverse from “all” before it. This diversity is very important to note, just as the metals were “diverse” and “inferior” one from another in the “great image” till at the end of it, it’s toes became mixed with iron and miry clay. It should be understood the “inferiority” that is growing in these governments would also be making them “diverse”, or different from one another. The angel explains to Daniel theses four beast, are four “kings” that arise out of “the earth”. “These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.” Without the rest of the scriptures connected to this verse, it would be easy to misunderstand “kings” spoken here, as being a symbol for an individual person ruling. However, the angel explains in verse 7:23 to Daniel this “fourth beast” he had just referred to as a “king”, he refers to as a “kingdom”….”The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms”. The angel tells Daniel this last kingdom, or world controlling government will be different than all the world controlling governments before it.

In Daniel chapter 8, Gabriel explains to Daniel who two of theses “kings” are symbols for, they are symbols for the future “Meda and Persian” kingdom, and the “Grecian” kingdom. Daniel 7:8-10 gives us another very important key in understanding how long this last, or fourth “beast” type of government will be controlling and ruling the world. Daniel is considering the 10 horns of this fourth beast, and “beholds it” till the Ancient of Days is seated, the Judgment is set, and the Books are opened.

“I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” 

 The fourth and last beast will control and rule the world till judgment day comes.!

A brief summary of Daniel chapter 7 symbolic meanings

1. 1. 1. There are four beast, which are symbols of world controlling governments

      2. Three are symbolized as a Lion, a Bear raised up on one side, and a Leopard with 4 heads and 4 wings of a foul.

      3. The four beast is “diverse” (different) from all the beast before it, and has ten horns and will continue controlling the world till judgment day comes.

Daniel’s second dream of the morning

Daniel’s second dream comes two years after the first dream, and is found in Daniel chapter 8. Daniel tells us, “it is after that which appeared to him in the first dream”. These two dreams are showing almost the same point in time. In Daniel’s second dream it is important to note there are only two “beasts” now, with a third kingdom rising up in the latter time of their kingdoms. In Daniel 8:1-14. We see two world controlling governments that are symbolized as a Ram, and He Goat with a little horn waxing exceeding great out of one of the He Goats little horns, that becomes the last government. The reason there is no longer four kingdoms being symbolized, can be understood when Daniel says at the very beginning of the vision, “I saw that I was at Shushan in the palace”. Shushan is where King Darius of the Media kingdom palace was. Daniel’s second vision begins at a point in time where the Babylonian kingdom has passed. The Babylonian kingdom will soon fall, and is not shown in this future prophecy any more, so the vision begins with the Medas and Persian kingdom in power. The two beast seen in the second vision are …

1. 1. 1. A Ram with two high horns, one higher than other

      2. A He Goat with a great horn, then four smaller horns rise after the big horn is broken

      3. A little horn waxes exceedingly great out of one of the four smaller horns of the He Goat.

The angel Gabriel is commanded to give Daniel understanding of theses symbols he is seeing in his vision. Gabriel explains to Daniel (8:20-26) exactly what governments theses symbols are representing. Gabriel tells Daniel, the “Ram with two horns” is symbolizing the kings of the Media and Persia, and the He Goat with the great horn between his eyes is the kingdom of Grecia, with the great horn being the first king of Grecia (Alexander the great) which afterwards, four kingdoms will rise up out the Grecian empire. Gabriel explains, that out of one of the four kingdoms arising afterwards, comes a “king” of fierce countenance coming in to power, but not by his own power. We need to remember this “king” of fierce countenance is a symbol of a actual kingdom type of government. It is very important to note here, that Gabriel is telling Daniel what future governments will control the world before they ever come into power. The Babylonian kingdom is still in power at the time of this second vision. Beltshaszzer is regining in his third year as king of Babylon. Gods word makes it very clear that God has predestined all powers, and governments, as he says in (Rom.13:1-2) ……“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation” 

Gabriel tells Daniel’s that both of his dreams are of the same point in time, and when these visions will come to pass. (Daniel 8:26) “And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.” …..8:17 “ for at the time of the end shall be the vision”

When comparing theses visions side by side, we know from Gabriel’s words, the “Ram” with two horns, “one higher than the other”, and the “Bear” that was “raised up more on one side” are both symbolizing the Kingdoms of Media and Persia. From that revelation, we now know the “arms and breast plate of silver” in the great image was symbolizing the kingdom of Media and Persia as well. Gabriel tell us the “He Goat” with a great horn that was broken, where “four horns” raising up afterwards is Grecia, and so we know the “Leopard with four heads and four wings” of a foul is also symbolizing the Grecian kingdom.

Daniel’s first vision has the Babylonian kingdom in it, seen as the “lion with eagles wings”, but it is not seen in Daniel’s second dream occurring two years later. The reason is, because the dream begins with Daniel at one of the palaces of the Media and Persia kingdom. We do know from Daniel interpreting the dream of the great image, that the Babylonian kingdom is, and was the first kingdom as the head of gold. Gabriel has now shown Daniel (and us) the the next two kingdoms that were, and history proves did control the world after the Babylonian kingdom. It is now clear that theses different symbols in the dreams and visions are showing the exact same time line of world controlling governments God has predestined. 

We know for sure from world history, that these first three kingdoms have came and gone long ago, and we are living in the time of the fourth and final world controlling government. This fourth, and last kingdom in Daniel’s dreams is not mentioned by name in the scriptures, which is of itself an important key to note. With one kingdom following the next, history shows the fourth world controlling kingdom government was the Roman government, which has fallen long ago. With this in mind, it is very important to consider and understand the reason why the scriptures do not call out the last government by name. We must realize this last type of government was something more than just the Roman people as nation. What is key here, is how this last type of government was being controlled. We know the governments were to grow more inferior, and diverse (different) from one another. It is said in Daniel’s vision that this fourth beast would be diverse from all the beasts (governments) before it. In other words a world controlling government that is different than all those before it.

Daniel 7:7 … After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

When we look at how “controlling power” of these governments had been divided up, we can easily see how they are becoming more “inferior” and “diverse” from Nebuchadnezzar’s superior kingdom, to those that would follow afterwards. One must consider that these kingdoms are not “inferior” because they lack any power to control the world, for the last kingdom is very strong in that way, but is seen as “inferior” one from another in how the kingdoms are governed. This is such an important “key” in understanding this last “beast government” and what makes it so diverse, and different from all the governments before it.

The growing “inferiority” and “diversity” in the governments, is controlling power being divided up more and more.

In Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom and government, one man had complete power to rule the world, just as Jesus is a “King of kings”, and has sovereign power controlling all the kingdoms, and creation.

The second kingdom was the Medias and Persians controlling the world. Their controlling power was now divided into two different groups. The ruling power is now divided between two kings, with one king stronger and having more power to rule than the other king, as is symbolized by the “bear raised up on one side”, and the Ram with “one horn higher than the other”.

The third kingdom was the Grecian kingdom. Which as soon as Alexander the great had concurred the world, he died, (partying in Babylon of all places!) and the Grecian kingdom’s controlling power was divided into four controlling powers, those being his generals. The Grecian kingdom was seen as a “Leopard” with “four heads and four wings”, and the “He Goat” who’s great horn was “broken”, and “four notable ones came up” toward the “four winds of heaven”.

We can now see the inferior and diversity is in how ruling authority is being divided up twice as much as the one before it.

The bible does not specifically call out the Roman government as the fourth beast, but we know the “fourth, and last beast” has something to do with the Roman type of government. This fourth type ended up having toes mixed with “miry clay”.  Miry clay being a symbol of fallen man.

In the beginning, the Romans had a democratic type of government for around 500 years. And were the first to control the world with a “democratic” type of government. The Roman democracy was very different and “diverse” from all governments before it, in how power to control was divided up over many people, and would be seen as “inferior” to a king’s sovereign ruling power. However around 27BC the Roman democracy fell back to an emperors control for a span of time, and later the the kingdom would be divided into two parts, the east and west Roman empires. Democracy had died off the world stage for nearly 1260 years (from approx 27BC to 1215AD) before it emerged again with power to control the governments of the world as it continues to do today. This rise, fall, and rise again of democratic republic type of government, can be seen as a fatal wound to one of the “heads”  as a type of world controlling government power, that did come back to rule again. …. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Revelations 13:3) The “Democratic Republic governments” of today, work together in the name of “freedom” to over throw all other kingdoms, and types of government, replacing them with democracy …..and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (Daniel 7:7)

Worshiping the beast

We live in the time of this final world controlling government. This “Republic type of Democracy” will continue from now, untill judgment day, as it works to destroy all other types of governments in the world. I am almost sure, all who are reading this is shocked to think, and will be hard to believe, they have lived their life in the time of this final beast the whole world worships and have not realized it. Jesus plainly, and clearly tells us in Matthew 24, in the time of this last beast, the religious false teachers, with their delusional lies will have deceive the whole world into worshiping this last beast, that is a government. The religious deception during the time of this last government will be so great that even the “very elect” would be deceived “if it were possible”!

…… “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.” (Matthew 24:24)

….. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

The false prophets do not condemn unrighteousness, but allow it to flourish. Fallen man’s nature loves unrighteousness, and hates the righteousness of God, making it easy for them to believe the false teachers lies about God. Man’s fallen nature loves the false teachers “made up” God, because it fits what he wants God to be like. This last government will allow unrighteousness to practice and prosper without punishment because fallen man has decided in this government what is to be considered good and evil, right and wrong. The question for everyone who claims to be a christian today should be, am I now worshiping this last type of government that is “exceedingly dreadful”, and following it’s false prophets without realizing it.? Nothing is more important, than to see this government that the “apostate Christian world” will worship, believing it’s a God honoring type of government. The false prophet of this government will be preaching this government is founded on biblical principles, and is God honoring, but in reality, it is the very opposite of honoring God. Nearly every democratic government removes God from his throne, and sets up man in Gods place, to consider and vote among themselves what the law will say is good and evil, ignoring Gods authority and law. Some of theses governments even have written into their constitutions to keep the Most High God’s commandments and laws out of being considered when deciding what the laws of the land should be.
